What is a Weave-Together?
A weave-together is a shared weaving experience where participants prepare individually beforehand using step-by-step guided lessons with Veranoa Hetet inside The Māori Weaving Experience.
This allows the gathering itself to focus on:
- weaving together
- conversation
- creativity
- reflection
- connection
Participants can follow Veranoa’s online lessons for guidance during the weave-together, making it possible for friends, whānau and communities to gather to connect and weave - even without a teacher in the room
The result is a calmer, more inclusive and more meaningful shared time.
