Descended from a long line of Māori weavers in her whānau, Veranoa learned from her mother Erenora Puketapu-Hetet, Veranoa has taught hundreds of people to weave, in person, over the course of 35 years and has taught thousands online since 2015. Veranoa creates daily, weaving from her home studio in Waiwhetu and teaching for the Hetet School of Māori Art.
